About The Author

My name is Chris Fick and I was born 1959 in Kansas City, Missouri. I'm a mixture of German, Irish, Austrian, and American Indian blood.

In 1964 my father, who was an electrical engineer that worked on top secret military projects for major corporations, got a job at Collins Radio in Dallas, Texas, and I have been living in the Dallas area ever since.

I graduated from NTSU and got a degree in business with a major in finance and minor in accounting. I also took a couple graduate level classes at UTD.

I have never been married and I don't have any children. I was engaged to a great girl for almost two years, but things did not work out. I love children and luckily I have a bunch of great nieces and nephews from two of my sister's families who I enjoy spending time around. 

I currently live in Frisco, Texas which is about twenty mile north of Dallas. My hobbies include computer graphics, creating music, writing computer programs, and journalism.

I was raised in a family that regularly attended a Roman Catholic church, but I have always had problems believing the Bible. So, as a result I now consider myself more of an independent who likes Deism.

Deism is a religion that believes in God, but does not rely on ancient writings or dead prophets for answers or guidance. It's more about science, common sense, logic, and the search for answers through the acquisitions of facts and human experiences.

I enjoy visiting with family, meeting new people, watching C-SPAN, reading non-fiction, eating at good restaurants, watching good movies, animals, computers, art projects, writing articles, and exposing major injustices and the people behind them.

If I could go back in time and change the way I lived my life, knowing what I know now, I would. I would have studied history and then law rather than business. And rather than going into business I would have gone into politics and become a Paul Wellstone liberal Democrat.

But, unfortunately, time only allows us to travel thought life in one direction, forwards, and our time here on earth is limited, and God probably made it that way for a good reason. Therefore, I will live with the choices I have made, and I will go forward knowing that the only sure thing in life is change.

I have set my sights on making some positive progressive changes in my life, and the lives of the people around me. I hope some of my articles can help people realize some positive changes in their lives by forcing our government to be more accountable and compassionate. My website, "George W. Bush Is Shameless", and by online books, "Bush Guide 2004" and "FIGHT", are some of my ways to fight back against the corruption in our government.

My Political Motivations

In America we have the right to speak out about an injustice when we see one, and especially when it is our government that is committing the injustice. The Republican Party and the Democratic Party are both guilty of betraying the American people by stealing, lying, looting, and who knows what else, but the Republican Party has been taken over by right-wing extremist and is currently threatening our democracy, government, legal system, and freedoms.

George W. Bush and his co-conspirators in Congress have been tripping over each other racing to see how fast they can rob our government and turn our democracy in to a ruthless fascist aristocracy. By creating huge budget deficits year after year they are pushing our government towards bankruptcy so that their rich Texas friends can buy up our governments assets for pennies on the dollar. Those assets belong to us! They are looting the Social Security trust fund so they can give their rich Texas friends big tax cuts, unnecessary corporate welfare, and pork barrel projects up the ying-yang.

The Republican Party's abundant generosity towards the rich and their killer business sense is squeezing the middle class, bankrupting our government, and concentrating our country's wealth into the hands fewer and fewer people, just like what the Robber Barons were trying to do before our government stopped them in 1915 with highly progressive taxes and government regulations.

We must now lobby our government to stop this new group of Robber Barons before they rob and take over this country. This website is designed to educate Americans, but it also about motivating Americans to lobby their government leaders for progressive changes in tax laws, environmental regulations, fiscal responsibility, and worker's rights. Otherwise, how are you going to tell your children that you lost their democracy? And especially if your living in a cardboard box under a bridge.

In America the government works for all the people, at least in legal theory based on constitutional law. A big government can provide big benefits and valuable service for all it's people, if it is run by good people. Good leadership is the key to our country's success and clearly that is where things have gone terribly wrong, and that is why I got involved and I hope it motivates you to get involved.

My Future

My current plans include getting as many people as possible to read my book "FIGHT". Nothing is more important to me and my family then seeing the corruption cut out of our government. Future generations of my family are counting on me, and I hope other people will join me in this fight and together we can take back our country.
