(12/19/2005) Last night President Bush gave a major speech
to the nation, and then today he held a press conference to answer questions. Both of
these televised events exposed how he is playing on our fears, misleading us, and treating
us like fools, and how the media is complicit in these right-wing frauds. It was not what
he said that exposed him as a fraud but it was what he failed to say, and it was the
questions the media failed to ask that exposed them as willing partners in Bush's fraud.
President Bush failed to tell us what this war in Iraq is
costing us and how he is planning on paying for it, and no one in the media ask him those
questions. He failed to tell us why our government has failed to secure our southern
border, and why our country is still not inspecting cargo containers coming into this
country on ships and planes. He failed to tell us why he is still pushing for more tax
cuts for people who make over $1 million dollars a year when we are fighting a very
expensive war in Iraq, when we are trying to recover from a major natural disaster, and
when our government is running huge budget deficits. He failed to point out that the U.N.
had weapons inspectors searching Iraq for WMDs just before he attacked Iraq. He failed to
explain his complete lack of response to numerous warnings of terrorist cells operating
inside the U.S. just prior to 9/11. He failed to explain why the people of Iraq still
don't have any garbage collection services. He failed to point out that 75% of Iraqis want
the U.S. out of Iraq. However, he did mislead us by spinning the facts and acting like his
decisions are producing positive results. He's a fraud.
Also, he did tell us that he broke the law and infringed on
our civil liberties by intercepting phone calls because, as he said, the terrorist are
"fast and quick". And that he knows the "terrorist are
planning on hitting us again". And how his first priority is to protect the
American people. He also said that he wants to end "junk lawsuits", and
make his first tax cuts "permanent". He said all these things with such
passion, enthusiasm, and emotional facial expressions that you would think that he was
talking to a group of people who have been asleep for the past five years.
President Bush, the Republicans in Congress, the people in
his administration, and a few corrupt mega wealthy families are continuing to manipulate
and mislead us with carefully scripted speeches, laughable press conferences, and clever
demagoguery. They hope to distract and confuse us while they loot our government,
undermine our democracy, and kill more innocent people in the Middle East. Their greed and
arrogance is only exceeded by their corruption and immorality. They give a whole new
meaning to the pejorative term "The Ugly American".
We, the American people, can no long afford to ignore this
wealthy right-wing criminal organization that has taken control of our federal government.
What these people have done, and are trying to do, is larceny, murder, and treason. We,
the voters, are the only policing mechanism capable of responding this criminal
organization that is threatening our rights, freedoms, and life styles. We must rise to
this danger and start fighting back today or they will destroy us.
The GOP stole the elections in 2000 and 2004 by manipulating
the vote count in Florida, and then by using rigged paperless voting computers built by
large corporations that have historically funded Republican candidates. Therefore, if we
want to exercise our legal rights and do our constitutional duties to hold our elected
officials accountable we must do so outside the voting booth.
I recommend we begin our efforts to take back our government
by badgering, boycotting, and using civil disobedience against the GOP and the people
financing their political careers. From there we can increase our actions as necessary
until these Republican criminals are out of our government. They all deserve to be put
behind bars, and some of them should be put into the gas chamber, but getting them out of
our government will work for now.
It is important to remember that our founding fathers were
do-or-die, blood and guts revolutionaries who secured our freedoms and democracy through
the barrel of a gun. Our founding fathers, through our country's founding documents,
encouraged us to keep an eye on our political leaders and to take bold actions, and even
violent actions if necessary, to maintain our constitutional rights and freedoms.
Our congressional forefathers recognized a wealth based
danger to our system of government so they took a bold action in 1913 when they passed the
sixteenth amendment to the Constitution. They then used that new constitutional power to
create a highly progressive income tax system that included a highly progressive estate
tax. Those progressive tax laws helped create a society where most people live in the
middle class, as opposed to a society like Mexico has where all the wealth is concentrated
in about thirty families.
The time has come for us to heed those wise warnings from our
founding fathers and forefathers, learn from those legal precedents, recognize this new
"Robber Baron" danger, and take whatever actions are necessary to secure our
freedoms and democracy for future generations. We cannot allow this small group of corrupt
right-wing elitist to win.
I won't go into all the reasons why we need to take such
immediate and drastic actions because all those reasons are spelled out in great detail in
the other articles on this website, and in numerous books and other websites. However, one
major reason we need to act is the war in Iraq. Our soldiers are dying and getting
seriously injured in Iraq everyday because President Bush is a liar and a thief, because
Iraq has lots of oil, and because the GOP needed an excuse to waste hundreds of billions
of dollars in order to accelerate their plan to bankrupt the U.S. government.
After 5 years of the GOP in control of all three branches of
our federal government the war in Iraq, budget deficits, cronyism, corruption, trade
deficits, job outsourcing, corporate scandals, stolen elections, and torture have shown
that the Democrats in Congress are incapable of holding the GOP accountable for anything,
even for the most obvious injustices. Therefore, we cannot count on these Democrats to
ally with us in our goal to take back our government from these mega wealthy right-wing
thugs.
People who agree with my warnings and who join me in this
patriotic goal will be putting themselves in some degree of danger. But if our soldiers
are willing to give their lives and lose parts of their bodies for the foolish and immoral
cause know as "the war in Iraq" don't you think we should be willing to fight,
and possibly die, for a cause as great as the future of our own democracy, and a cause as
important as keeping economic opportunities available for our children.
I don't want to give up my life in a war to take back our
government, but I will because the alternative will result in the impoverishment of the
American people for countless generations, and the torture and murder of many others.
Also, the rest of the world is counting on us to do our jobs as self governors by holding
our leaders accountable. If we don't stand up for ourselves no one else is going to stand
up for us, but if we do stand up and fight I'm sure many powerful allies will join us.
Therefore, I call on all the American people to join me by
becoming involved in this effort to take back our government, and not just from the
Republicans in Congress but also from the complacent Democrats in Congress. I'm asking you
to do your patriotic duty by standing up for yourselves, your country, and your
government. You can start by learning how to fight back, and then act by badgering,
boycotting, and using civil disobedience to drive the GOP out of power. Start training
your minds and bodies for a real physical fight. Start showing your political
representatives that you know what is really going on and you are not going to tolerate it
any longer. Show them the level of your determination through the relentless quality of
your actions. In summary, educate yourself, physically train your body, arm yourself with
weapons, and then act with confidence and fearlessness.
