BUSH GUIDE 2004 2008

Introduction

Introduction

Gopcigss.jpg (22052 bytes)The Republican Party has become the "tobacco industry" of American politics, the "Enron" of corrupt organizations, and the "Atkins Diet" of conservatism. George W. Bush and the Republicans in Congress try to paint an attractive picture of themselves while they are really undermining the fiscal health, freedoms, and legal foundation upon which this country was built. They have been lying to us and playing us for fools in a "con" designed to rob us, the American people, of our government's assets and legal protections, and they must be stopped and held accountable before America's democracy goes up in smoke, and down in ruin.

This con is similar to the con in the movie "The Sting" starring Robert Redford and Paul Newman, except that instead of tricking and ripping-off some rich bad guy for a few million dollars in an elaborate gambling hoax, the GOP and a few of their more wealthy supporters are going to rip-off the American people and America's government institutions for trillions of dollars in a shameless bankruptcy fraud. Both of these cons are the same in their degree of complexity and the extremes that the con-artists are willing to go to pull off their respective frauds. Both involve large numbers of personnel, extravagant planning, lengthy manipulation periods leading up the to big swindle, and large sums of money promised to the con-men at the end of a successful bamboozle.

This year's record fiscal deficit of $450 billion dollars, plus another $200 billion borrowed from the Social Security trust fund, is no mistake, but is just the continuation of a deliberate effort to run up unsustainable government debt. This effort began in 1982 during the Reagan/Bush administration, and then was delayed eight years by the Clinton administration, but the Republicans are back in control and so is their greed based government looting plan. Everything else that the Bush administration does while in office is just window dressing to provide distractions and excuses for their real objective. Their real objective is to balloon the total federal debt, which now stands at over $7.2 trillion dollars, so high that the federal government must sell off its assets to meet its financial obligations.

The U.S. government owns some vary valuable assets including almost 30% of all the land in America, priceless national treasures, and other valuable assets. The law says that these assets belong to the American people, unless our government goes into bankruptcy, in which case, they will then belong to the highest bidder. If we allow these assets to be looted from our government we will lose a lot more than just these tangible assets, we will also lose our rights, freedoms, opportunities, and security. Therefore, we must not allow this Republican based con to succeed, and if it does succeed we must make those responsible pay for their thieving treason.

George W. Bush and the Republicans in Congress call themselves conservative, they promise us conservative legislation, and yet they deliver the most extremist, non-conservative results imaginable. For example, right now we have huge record setting budget deficits that are threatening the fiscal solvency of our entire system of government and the health of our economy, and the only thing these Republicans seem to care about is making Bush's tax cuts for the rich permanent, and increasing the budget of our already gigantic military that is currently costing over $450 billion dollars a year. They nominate the most extreme right-wing judges they can find to life-time positions on the federal courts and then they cry bloody murder when the Democrats don't all these nominees go through.

The evidence is clear that these Republicans are not conservatives, and the conservative label is a misnomer that is being used as a smokescreen to disguise their true ideology. Their true ideology is so far to the right of conservatism it can only be called one thing, fascism.

Fascism is an ideology where government interest and corporate interest are merged into a form of belligerent nationalism. Fascism is the antithesis of democracy, and that is why we should all reject the Republican's selfish ideology and we should consider the Republican Party, and all its members in the U.S. Congress, as treasonous liars, ruthless thieves, shameless tyrants, and corrupt money whores.

Treason is defined as the betrayal of ones own country by waging war against it, or by consciously and purposely aiding its enemies. Based on this definition it appears that the elected members of the Republican Party are already guilty of attempted treason by their conscious and deliberate actions to undermine the fiscal health of the U.S. government through extreme and totally unnecessary budget deficits, and through some of their other legislation that has weakened our independence, weakened our domestic manufacturing capability, and weakened the ability of America's workers to organize and negotiate for better wages and working conditions.

For the past sixty years the U.S. has had the most successful and robust economy in the world and therefore there is absolutely no reason for our government to go so deep into debt. There are only two reasonable explanations why our leaders would do this, and they are: either gross incompetence; or deliberate fiscal mismanagement. Which one do you think it is?

I believe these enormous budget deficits are deliberate and they are intentionally designed to destroy our system of democratic government, a system of government that is of the people, by the people, and for the people, and replacing it with a government of the wealthy, by the wealthy, and for the wealthy. We should move aggressively to see to it that Bush and the members of the Republican Party are all held accountable for their immoral efforts to undermine our constitutional system of democracy. Chapter 23 of this book is written with this goal in mind.

How far, and to what extent, do you think a money whoring corrupt organization, like the Republican Party,  would go to land a deal worth several trillion dollars? Would they be willing to lie? cheat? steal? murder?

Our founding fathers understood the danger to our democracy from powerful business interest and that is why the only criminal penalty they put in the U.S. Constitution was the penalty for treason, and that penalty is death. And that is also why they put so much power in the hands of the people, and put so many check and balances on our government institutions. Our founding fathers created a system of laws so that government institutions and corporations are servants of the people and not their masters, and that is still the law of the land even if it is not the reality we are witnessing.

Thomas Jefferson said "the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants", because he knew we would have to fight to preserve our democracy from those who only honor gold. The tree of liberty is dying because Bush and his Republican cohorts in Congress are killing it with greed.

The good news is that these Republicans still have not managed to bankrupt our government, despite their best efforts to do so. And as long as we can keep our government solvent we will stand a chance of preserving our democracy for future generations.

That is why so many thoughtful public figures have been calling the up coming election between Bush and Kerry the most important election ever in the history of America. They know that if Bush is reelected, and the Republicans maintain their majorities in the House and the Senate, they might be able to bankrupt the federal government before the end of Bush's second term. If they accomplish that feat our democracy, the rule of law, our freedoms, rights, opportunities, and security will quickly become history. If that happens the American people will need to start tightening their belts and watching their backs because lean and dangerous times will be ahead for all of us.

People like Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Oliver North, Tucker Carlson, Robert Novak, Ann Coulter, Pat Buchanan, George W. Bush, and the Republicans in Congress are generally nice looking people who say positive hopeful things that ignite passion and enthusiasm for the Republican Party, its right-wing agenda, and America's future. These media personalities and elected officials are hardworking people with families and they are not selling the right-wing's un-democratic agenda because they are stupid, with the exception of Ann Coulter, but because they are greedy, selfish, and corrupt. They appear to believe that America will work better if it is led by wealthy capitalist rather than corruptible politicians.

This philosophy is also known as the "golden rule", where the person with the most gold makes the rules. But that is not the definition of democracy, and it is contrary to democratic ideals, so the Republicans cloak their un-democratic ideology with lies, misnomers, accusations, finger pointing, religious preponderancies, and emotion stirring shallow generalizations. But for those of us who believe in democracy, and who are very close observers of the facts and history, the so called "political intellectuals", are saddened, angry, shocked, and in a state of disbelief that so many people fall for the right-wing's propaganda, and completely ignore the facts. We don't believe these people want their democracy replaced with an aristocracy any more than they want their house replaced with a cardboard box under a bridge. We believe that if they like the "golden rule" idea it is only because they don't understand its potential negative effects on their lives. We just want to shake these people and say "Hey, wake up, your losing your democracy, stop being a sucker for the right-wing's propaganda!"

The Republican's shameless efforts to deceive the American people are creating a group of right-wing followers who remind me of the society in Ray Bradbury's novel "Fahrenheit 451". In this novel almost all the people have been brainwashed by the government using TV programs, legalized drugs, fear from wars and terrorist attacks, and lack of knowledge. And the few people who don't allow themselves to be brainwashed are labeled as criminals and are hunted down by "firemen" who's job it is to burn books and stop the spread of knowledge and free-thinking ideologies. The firemen don't realize they are doing anything wrong because they are keep ignorant with lack of knowledge, and they are motivated to try to advance in their careers using the old "carrot-on-a-stick" verses "stick-across-the-face" approach, in other words, greed and fear. Is that what American society is becoming? Or are we already there? How can we un-brainwash all these people before it's too late?

Most of the American people cannot see, or recognize, this fraud because it takes time and knowledge to correlate these facts and the Republicans in Congress deliberately confuse the public by blaming the Democrats, misstating the facts, invoking religious abstractions, avoiding the subject, and just plain lying. But those techniques don't work with most college political science professors, or political reporters, and that is why most of them are liberals and are often at the receiving end of the scorn from these right-wing media personalities who cry about the liberal bias in the media and the liberal influence on college campuses.

The right-wing knows that knowledge is the Domiciles Sword that dangles dangerously over the head of their un-democratic ideology. Maybe that is why they want to get rid of the Department of Education, they support media consolidations, and are pushing several other pieces of legislation designed to subvert genuine education goals.

George W. Bush

Who Is He? Con-Artist - A person who uses psychology, fear, lies, deceptions, and other actors to cheat gullible people out of their money and property. A con-artist plays on their victims sympathies, dreams, fears, and needs to gain their trust and confidence. The con-artist's fraud is a staged event and the only player without a script is the victim. Once the con-artists get what they want they will disappear just as quickly as they appeared in order to avoid being held accountable for their crimes, or they eliminate their victim.

What Is Wrong With Him? Antisocial Personality Disorder - A person who lacks empathy and tends to be callous, cynical, and contemptuous of the feeling, rights, and suffering of others. They show a pervasive pattern of disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others. Also known as psychopath, sociopath, dissocial personality disorder.

What Does He Want? Aristocracy - A form of government where wealthy individuals control and run the government. The government exist to serve and protect the interest of these wealthy individuals. There might be an illusion of democracy, but only to placate the working class against revolt. Most of the American pioneers were people who were fleeing countries with this form of oppressive government. The founding fathers wrote our constitution with the intention of preventing an aristocracy from ever taking over in this country. The sixteenth amendment to the constitution and progressive tax policies were created to protect our democracy from becoming a aristocracy.

In order to help me prove my point about the ruthless flimflam the fascist Republican Party is perpetrating against the American people, and the federal government, I have created a list of Republican engineered scams that have already cost the American people trillions of their tax dollars, and have set our government on a course towards insolvency. Following this list is a second list of Republican scams that are currently being sold to the American people and that will end up costing the American people more money, freedoms, opportunities, rights, and security than they can possibly imagine, if they are allowed to succeed. Don't be fooled by the Republicans excuses and blame game tactics about these events, because these are the facts, and the GOP is responsible:

  • The Reagan/Bush Savings & Loan Crisis Rip-off (estimated cost: between $500 billion and $1 trillion dollars.) This deregulation scam started in 1982 and by 1989 it was over. Wealthy land owners, developers, and investors in Texas, California, Florida, and Colorado made a killing from this scam and taxpayers are still picking up the bill, with interest, until 2020. This one belongs in the Bush family's "Hall of Shame". I will talk more about the Bush family's involvement in this scam later in this book.
  • The California Energy Deregulation Price Gouge Scam (estimated cost: $20 billion dollars.) Enron, Reliant, and a few other energy companies made a pile of cash by manipulating the newly deregulated free market, and the people in California ended up picking up the tab. President Clinton had blocked these companies from energy speculation in California, but Bush lifted the block as soon as he took office and his biggest campaign supporter, Enron, laughed all the way to the bank. Beware, energy deregulation is probably coming to your home state soon.
  • Corporate Tax Loopholes (estimated cost: $350 billion dollars each year.) Wealthy individuals and large corporations have been playing a game of "tax avoidance" by setting up off-shore bank accounts, off-shore incorporations, tax deferred trust funds, tax exempt foundations, and a number of different convoluted accounting transactions. Everyone who does not play this game is at a competitive disadvantage and ends up picking up the tab for those who do. The Republicans in Congress continue to block legislation designed to close these unfair loopholes and they continue to award big government contracts to companies who exploit these loopholes, like the $50 billion dollar contract that the Bush administration just awarded to the Bahamas based Accenture corporation for Homeland Security computers and services.
  • Pension Law Changes (estimated cost: n/a) President Clinton place a moratorium on certain pension accounting changes because they were unfair to the pension beneficiaries (workers), but Bush lifted it and the rip-off of worker's retirement savings continues with no recourse.
  • Mining, Drilling, Grazing, and Logging on Public Lands: (estimated cost: $100 billion each year) Large corporations are being allowed to exploit resources on public lands and pay almost nothing in royalties and lease payments. Kay Bailey Hutchinson (R-TX) continues to block legislation designed to stop this looting and she continues to push legislation that gives more preferential tax treatment for oil and gas producers who exploit these government owned resources.
  • Giveaway of the Public Airways: (estimated cost: $10 billion dollars a year.) The federal government has been practically giving away the public airways to a few highly profitable very large corporations. These big media companies offer little, or no, public access programming, educational programming, or free political time programming. And they continue to price gouge our two major political parties during every election cycle. Bush's FTC chairman, Powell, has relaxed regulations allowing for more consolidation among the big media companies.
  • Roll-back of Pollution Regulations: (estimated cost: n/a) Bush has rolled back the regulations that limit the amount of pollution emitted into our air and water and he has transferred the cost of cleaning up polluted sites to the public. These changes are harmful to the health of Americans, they are unfair, and they increase the danger to our planet from global warming. Companies guilty of polluting our environment are usually big financial contributors to the Republican Party. The old adage "follow the money to find the criminals" was never more true than in this case.
  • Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit Scam: (estimated cost: $300 billion dollars in unnecessary corporate welfare for the highly profitable drug and insurance industries.) This Republican legislation, that Bush signed, is a complete scam that was passed in the middle of the night after a full day of arm twisting and political payoff deals for legislators who supported the final bill. This bill is the beginning of the end of the Medicare system as we now know it. I will talk more about his bill later in this book.

Do you know why all these right-wing political leaders are so happy?
medicarebill.jpg (17989 bytes)
Because they just stabbed Medicare in the back and handed their friends in the drug and insurance industries a huge pile of your tax dollars!

  • Repeal of The Estate Tax: (estimated cost: Trillions of dollars in lost tax revenues.) This Republican legislation is a democracy killer. When you allow billionaires to pass all their wealth onto their kids tax-free generation after generation you greatly limit the opportunities for average citizens to create new wealth, you create huge inflationary pressures, and you force middle-class taxpayers to pay higher tax rates to make up for the difference. If you want to turn our democracy into an aristocracy, this is how you do it.
  • Repeal of the Dividend Tax: (estimated cost: $789 billion over ten years.) This is another Bush tax cut designed to enrich billionaires at the expensive of average Americans. This legislation encourages profitable companies to pay dividends from profits rather than reinvesting their profits back into their companies. This will stagnate stock prices and limit company's desires to expand with new equipment and employees. Workers and small businesses will end up having to pay more taxes to make up for these lost revenues.
  • Gramm's (R-TX) Banking Deregulation: (estimated cost: n/a) The eventual cost could be in the trillions of dollars as banks invest their capital in much higher risk ventures, capital requirements are reduced, and regulatory agency's budgets are cut. This could be like the "S&L Crisis" all over again with the same winners and losers.
  • Preferential Tax Treatment for Producers of Oil, Gas, and Coal (estimated cost: n/a) It is through these types of tax deals that the U.S government has been encouraging the use of oil, gas and coal, and has been discouraging the development and use of cleaner alternatives. These tax deals are responsible for the addition of tons of pollution into our atmosphere and water each year, and these pollutants are adding to the dangers of global warming. Maybe electing two oil men out of Texas wasn't such a good idea after all.
  • Non-bid Government Contracts To Halliburton and others: (estimated cost: n/a) These types of government contracts are costing American taxpayers billions of dollars each year and they act as disincentives for other companies who seek government contract work through a competitive bidding process. Halliburton is Vice President Dick Cheney's old company and he is still receiving millions of dollar in deferred compensation. Who is Cheney really working for?
  • The Enron, WorldCom, Tyco, and Author Anderson Accounting Scams: (estimated cost: $100 billion dollars) The accounting scams these companies were using were designed to trick investors, and the tax avoidance schemes were designed to help these companies avoid paying any U.S. taxes. In my opinion, these tricks were immoral and should have been illegal. President Clinton tried to shut down many of these scams, but the Republicans in Congress wouldn't let him. The end result was the bankruptcy of two of the largest companies in the U.S. (Enron and Author Anderson), and the rip-off of their employees, investors, creditors, and shareholders. We are still waiting on reforms to prevent this type of fraud from occurring again, and we still have not seen the heads of these corrupt corporations go to jail for the stealing they perpetrated. And if any of them do go to jail it will probably be nothing more than a short trip to a health spa.
  • The Abu Ghraib Prison Abuses: (estimated cost: n/a) These abuses cost America its reputation in the eyes of the world. America is in Iraq to liberate, reform, and democratize, but instead we are seen as evil occupiers who commit torture, rape, murder, and aggravated assaults for reasons that make no sense. The lowest "order following grunts" gets the blame for these despicable acts and no one in the administration knows anything, or accepts any accountability for what happened. I will talk more about these abuses later in this introduction.
  • The War in Iraq: (estimated cost: $250 billion dollars, 850+ young American lives, 15,000+ Americans injuries, 20,000+ injured and killed Iraqis, and the trust and respect of some of our most important allies.) Bush lied to the American people about the real reasons for starting a war in Iraq, he sent our troops ill-equipped, he planned poorly for the occupation, he did not include these war cost in his budget, he has not ask the wealthy to sacrifice one penny and instead has tried to pass more tax cuts for the rich while running huge deficits, and he has allowed billion dollar non-bid contracts to be awarded to Halliburton for their work in Iraq. I will talk more about the war in Iraq and these Halliburton contracts later in this book.

The above list is just the tip of the Republican's bloody treasonous corruption, subversion, and malfeasance iceberg. We can't easily forget other Republican fiascoes like Watergate, Iran/Contra, huge budget deficits, wasteful military spending, or the support of corrupt right-wing dictators like Pinochet in Chile, Marcos in the Philippines, Duvalier in Haiti, Noriega in Panama, Diem in Vietnam, Amin in Uganda, Banzer in Bolivia, Batista in Cuba, Cordova in Honduras, Pol Pot in Cambodia, Somoza in Nicaragua, Suharto in Indonesia, Trujillo in Argentina, Hussein in Iraq, and many others. It has even been reported that Osama bin Laden, the terrorist responsible for 9/11, was trained and backed by the CIA during the Reagan administration.

In addition to the above scams, that have already cost the American people a mountain of their tax dollars, the Republicans in Congress are busy cooking up a whole bunch of new recipes for rip-offs, and they include the following new tasty treats for the benefit of their favorite fascist billionaire:

  • New Social Security Privatization Schemes
  • Repeal of the "Capital Gains Tax"
  • Repeal of the "Corporate AMT Tax"
  • Flat Tax
  • National Sales Tax
  • Tort Reforms
  • School Vouchers
  • Paperless Voting Machines
  • Genetic Engineered Food Without Labeling
  • Copyrights and Patents Extended Forever
  • New "Patriot Act" Laws That Limit Our Rights
  • Cuts In Overtime Pay Regulations
  • Future Budget Deficits Designed To End Social Safety Net Programs
  • Future Budget Deficits Designed To Bankrupt The Federal Government (This is the grand prize for the GOP. Look out, because they are really hungry for this bonus level payoff and it is a killer.)
  • The End of the Minimum Wage
  • The End of the Department of Education
  • The End of Medicare
  • The Beginning of Faith Based Initiatives
  • More Un-funded Mandates To The States
  • More Outsourcing of Jobs
  • More Corporate Welfare
  • More Right-Wing Extremist Nominated To Federal Court Positions
  • More Prisons To House The Drug Users and Credit Card Abusers
  • New "Free Trade" Partners In Third World Countries
  • New Batch of Off-Shoring of U.S. Factories
  • Amnesty For Illegal Immigrants
  • New Wars Against "The Enemies of Democracy"

napalmgirlsmall.jpg (10916 bytes)

Almost all these Republican engineered scams work the same way, and involve many of the same individuals, including members of the Bush family who's names keep popping up in my research. Following is the anatomy of the typical GOP scam:

  • There is a front man "patsy" to take the blame.
  • There is "plausible deniability" for the scammers.
  • There are the "already very wealthy beneficiaries" who horde the looted wealth.
  • There are the "victims", the middle class American people and small business people, who end up paying the price, and will continue to do so until there is no more middle class people or small business people left to pick up the tab.

The current Bush administration has been so arrogant, ruthless, and shameless in its scams, and lack of accountability, that it must cause other organized crime families to blush with envy.

For the GOP "big money" is the name of the game and the Democrats in Congress and the American people are just obstacles that they must maneuver around in order to get to the loot. And when the negative results of the Republican's debauchery and non-conservative legislative becomes headline news, they point their fingers at the Democrats and blame them for everything, and not just once, but continuously, forcefully, ruthlessly, and shamelessly.

Don't wait until you, or your family members, are the victims of the GOP's, or some giant corporation's, negligence, corruption, or malevolence before you realize the political party you have been voting for doesn't give a damn about you. And the Democrats are not blameless here, or in other areas of wrong doing, but the facts, primarily money and legislation, point strongly towards the Republicans, and it is the Republican's ideology that is threatening our democracy, not the Democrats.

Publicly, all these elected Republicans congratulate each other, give thanks to God, and spin the facts all in an attempt to trick voters into believing that they are nice people who have high morals and are independent free-thinking decision makers. While privately, behind the scenes, they are busy towing the GOP line by selling out to the highest bidder and plotting the subversion of democratic ideals while promoting aristocracy through regressive tax policies, corporate welfare, privatization schemes, court appointees, and legislation designed to allow the looting of the U.S. government's resources, bank accounts, and cash flows. It's the old classic "bait and switch" con-job and the American voters are the "marks" and the federal government's assets are the prize.

The Republican Party is like the old cigarette ad showing the handsome cowboy sitting on a horse at sunset with a cigarette in his mouth. It is an attractive image, in a macho sort of way, but the burn holes on his clothing, the taste of tar in his mouth, the brown stain on his teeth, his hacking cough, a trial of ashes where ever he goes, looming medical problems, and the expense of a pack a day addiction are a few of the unseen cost of tobacco use that the tobacco companies don't show you. Similarly, the Republican Party does not what you to see the real cost of their self-serving legislative agenda, so I'm going to show you the real cost throughout the rest of this book. No calculators will be necessary because it's a 100% looting plan.

I believe that the true ugly face and non-conservative fascist ideology of the Republican Party can be seen by comparing this WWII poster with one of the recent photos of abuse from the Abu Ghraib prison:

Abughraibnazi.JPG (38020 bytes)

Do you see the similarities? In my opinion the Republican Party has become the "New Nazi Party" and their leadership is equally capable of large scale evil, terror, and propaganda. Personally, I have known about and understood the true sinister nature of the Republican Party for over 15 years, but this photo is a graphic affirmation of that horrible understanding. Don't wait until you and your family members are hanging from the Republican's meat hooks before your open your mind to the possibility of what I am saying is the truth.

In American "we, the people are self-governors". What that means is that it is our constitutional right and duty to oversee what our elected officials are doing, and to hold them accountable for their promises, words, actions, and their inactions. If we fail as self-governors, and we allow ourselves to be deceived, lulled into complacency, made to believe that our votes are meaningless, or manipulated by fear and ignorance, we will lose our democracy.

Unfortunately, that is exactly what has been happening, but it is not too late. It is time for us, the "enlightened", to help the rest of the American people wake-up to the realization that the Republican Party has been misleading us. And that it is our duty to hold the Republican Party accountable for their shameless hypocrisy before our democracy is lost. Because once our democracy is gone it will be gone for good and there will be no way to get it back. So we must act now to save it, because later will be too late.

The bottom line is that the Republican Party cannot be trusted, just like we learned that the tobacco companies could not be trusted, and all the Republicans in Congress should be exposed, shunned, and held accountable for their lies, un-democratic values, and non-conservative legislation.

Most of the American people have a hard time seeing the Republican Party's un-Godly selfish agenda, and totally corrupt un-democratic ideology, because most the American people have jobs, homes, families, hobbies, friends, investments, retirement accounts, and vacation plans. But for those of us who don't have a lot of these time consuming distractions, and who are dedicated to improving our system of self government, know what is really going on in Washington D.C. and in the Republican Party, so we frantically write letters, editorials, and books hoping to awaken the rest of the American people to the treasonous rip-off the GOP is carrying out against the American people. We hope that we can convince enough people to vote against the Republican Party so that the Republican's evil self-serving rip-off plan will not be able to succeed. However, this is not one of those books.

I wrote this book to entertain the people who already know that the Republican Party is political party of lairs, con-artist, shysters, and money whores. And to re-enforce their negative opinions about these bunch of anti-democratic scumbags. I have included a number of ideas and tools that can be used to help anti-Republican activist convert Republican voters into open-minded independent voters.

There are lots of other anti-Bush anti-Republican books available that attempt to enlighten and covert uninformed Republican voters and I highly recommend those to people who are still open-minded enough to question the political party they want to support.

The first anti-Bush anti-Republican book I wrote was designed as a conversion book, where I tried to convince Republican voters to change over to voting for Democrats. After I got done writing this book I felt like every Republican voter should read my book and the ones who don't shouldn't be allowed to vote. But that is not how our system works, everyone gets a vote including Billy Bob Six Pack, and Betty Sue Soap Opera who have never read a book in their lives. So this time I wrote a book that is for a audience that is already highly literate, well informed, and un-brainwashed by the right-wings unrelenting propaganda.

This is the second book I have written about George W. Bush, but the first one to be published. I decided not to publish my first book after seeing many of the dozens and dozens of other anti-Bush books that have been written during the past year. I felt like my book would not have added anything new to volumes of discourse about Bush and his administration by great writers like David Corn, Joe Conason, Michael Moore, Al Franken, Molly Ivans, and many others. So I decided to write a new anti-Bush book that is very different from my first book, and is different from all the other anti-Bush books I have seen.

This book is a mix between a Saturday Night Live satire, a Ross Perot campaign commercial, a Ralph Nader anti-corporation speech, a Paul Begala expose' book, a Michael Moore tell-all interview, and a Mad Magazine political cartoon. I decided that instead of using only words to convey facts and opinions I would use my skills as an artist, and my training as a financial analyst, to express much of this information in a graphic format that is unique, analytical, and entertaining.

I hope readers find this book to be artsy, funny, serious, hopeful, and shocking, but above all I hope they find it educational and thought provoking. And in the end I hope all my readers will agree with this one sentiment, "Bush and the Republican Party S#&%!".

If you read my book and still don't agree with these conclusions and recommendations then just sit back, light one up, inhale deeply, and think happy-happy thoughts about nice conservative politicians, flying pigs, and the Marlborough Man riding off into the sunset, because the dream is always more pleasant than the reality anyway.

Enjoy,

Chris M. Fick
