(5/17/2005) There is no question in
my mind that the presidential election in 2000 was stolen from Al Gore by George W. Bush
and his people. I also believe that the 2004 election was also stolen from John Kerry by
George W. Bush and his people.
The 2000 elections theft was done primarily
in Florida and in the Supreme Court, whereas the 2004 elections theft was done using
rigged paperless elections computers all over the country.
In the 2000 election a recount of the votes
by major media companies show that Gore actually got more votes than Bush. Also, there is
no disputing the fact that Gore won the overall nationwide popular vote by over 500,000
votes.
There were also the other Florida vote scam
including roadblock checkpoints on election day in certain areas, incorrect felony
conviction list, and voting machine counting errors. There were big population migrations
into Tennessee and Arkansas during the prior eight years resulting in Gore losing those
two states.
Gore and Kerry should have been our
presidents, but instead we have had the thief and liar George W. Bush and his band of
fascist thugs trying to destroy our government.
America has had to pay a heavy price
because of both these election frauds. And not just in dollar terms, with a $10 trillion
dollars swing in the federal budget projections, but with the blood of over 1,574 American
soldiers in a unnecessary war in Iraq. And the list could go on and on with things Bush
and done and failed to do that have cost this country and the American people dearly. In
fact, I can't think of one good thing Bush has done for this country.
In the 2000 election the vote was so close
that one state, Florida, decided the outcome. When the final votes were counted in Florida
Bush had won the state by only 576 votes. Al Gore responded to this outcome by asking for
a recount of all the votes, which is a perfectly fair and is a common request in such
close elections. The first machine recount showed Gore closing the gap and a hand recount
of the votes was requested and granted.
During the hand
recount of votes a angry mob entered the building and began beating on the doors and walls
screaming and yelling. This mob behavior frightened the election officials, who were busy
recounting the votes by hand, and they fled the building fearing for their lives.
Who were these angry
people? Were they just a hobbled together group of Florida citizens who were concerned
about an injustice against their democracies most fundamental right? No. Were they an
unpaid group of people who wanted to make sure Bush won the election? No. What they were
was a group of political hacks who were working for, or had recently worked for, the GOP.
At the top of this page is a picture of these people as they beat on the doors and yelled
obscenities at the top of their lungs; labels have been included for easy identification.
This mob intimidation stunt actually
worked. It delayed the recount long enough for the Supreme Court to declare Bush the
winner, by a vote of 5 to 4. The majority of the court said there was not enough time for
a the hand recount to continue and since Bush was still ahead in the Florida count he was
the winner. This horrible partisan decision by the Supreme Court was a slap in the face to
our democracy and our most important right as American citizens.
That brings us to the election in November 2004. This time a hand recount of
votes won't be necessary because the new electronic voting machines do not generate a
paper audit trial. A vote recount is not even possible.
These computerized voting devices are
built by private corporations, who's software is proprietary, and there is no paper audit
trial. The outcome cannot be questioned. The American voters must now rely on the honesty
of a handful of large profit motivated corporations to count their votes. Can you say
"Major conflict of interest"?
The exit polls, which are considered by
most polling organization as the most accurate, showed Kerry winning several key states.
And if these exit polls were accurate, as I believe they were, Kerry should be our
president. However, the new paperless voting computers gave Bush enough votes to carry
these key states by wide enough margins that court battles, or impossible vote recounts,
were avoided.

I find it highly ironic that American
boys are fighting and dying to give Iraq a democracy when they are losing their democracy
back home to a bunch of wealthy fascist.
The solution to these elections scams
are very clear, but since the GOP controls all three branches of our government the
solutions are impossible to get passed into law. How convenient for the GOP. Therefore,
the only way to get the GOP out of power is for the American people to hold the thieving
liars accountable for their acts of treason against the U.S. government.
