New Poll Exposes Big Problem

Classwar.jpg (14746 bytes)(11/11/2005) The latest AP poll shows that Bush's job approval rating has dropped below 36%. That is really good news because it shows that Republican voters are starting to realize the Bush administration and the GOP are not representing their interest. This poll also ask the 36% why they still believe Bush is doing a good job, and most responded that they agree with his policies and like his Christian values. That is really bad news because it shows that this group of Republican voters are not paying attention to the facts, but are responding to the GOP's spin.

If 36% of Americans approve of Bush's policies and like his Christian values despite a huge, and growing, mountain of facts that should refute those beliefs we have a big problem in America. This tells me that the GOP's brainwashing propaganda machine is working and the media companies are largely to blame. I suspect that if George W. Bush took a 2 by 4 and whacked these people up side their head they would probably still be singing his praises. If these people still cannot see the light after 5 years of lies, wars, trust fund looting, corruption, cronyism, and skyrocketing budget deficits they are beyond recovery. The GOP's brainwashing treatments have these people following Bush like lemmings off a cliff.

For any of the 36% of Bush supporters who happen to stubble across this article I have some advise for you: 1. Turn off your TV and keep it off. 2. Compare Christian values with GOP policies (Not what Bush or his GOP colleagues say, but what they actually do, i.e. the results that their leadership has produced.). 3. Read some history books, and I'm not talking about the Bible. 4. Stop consuming alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, animal fats, and sugary treats. 5. Lose some weight and get some exercise. 6. Stop voting against your self-interest. 7. Come back to earth, we could use your help down here.

For the other 64% of the population who have not been brainwashed by the GOP's propaganda media conspiracy I have a few words of advise for you. I often read the political web BLOGs and many of you are angry and frustrated, just like I am, by this administration, the GOP, and the 36% of people who believe in them despite the facts. You appear to think and promote the idea that the GOP will pay for their immoral and illicit actions at the voting booth during the next election. I hate to burst your happy balloon of optimism, but I'm afraid your only deluding yourselves by thinking that way.

The new paperless voting computers that most of us voting on during the election in 2004 are a right-wing joke on our democracy. These computers cannot be audited and our votes cannot be recounted. They are built and programmed by a few large corporations that have histories of funding the GOP. That is why the Bush administration doesn't give a rat's ass about what we think or how we feel. They have no fear from the voter's votes, and it shows through their policies.

Therefore, since they no longer fear how we will vote maybe we need to make them fear us for some other reasons.

According to Mao democracy is achieved through the barrel of a gun. According to Thomas Jefferson the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of tyrants. According to the U.S. Constitution we have a right to bare arms to defend our lives, liberties, and democracy from treasonous conspirators. According to democratic ideals we have a right to pick our leaders, and if we lose that right through rigged elections systems, or any other means, we have the right and obligation to take back our government from the people who stole it.

The time has come to fight. We must take back our government while we are still in an economic position to do so. If the GOP won't honor our votes and won't listen to our voices maybe we can teach them to respect our determination when they hear the blast from our guns and the bullets whizzing by their heads.

I am not calling for the destruction of our government. Our government is not the problem. Bad leadership is the problem.

We love our government because our government works for us. The Constitution places us above our government. Everything our government owns really belongs to us. The powers our government has are really all of our powers.

When the GOP reduces and robs our government they are really reducing and robbing us. When the GOP sells off our government's assets for pennies on the dollar to their mega rich friends they are selling off our assets. When the GOP's free trade deals cause huge trade deficits that reduce the value of the U.S. dollar they are reducing the value of all of our standard of living. When the GOP lies and kills they are doing so in our name and we all have blood on our hands and blackened hearts because of their actions and words. When the GOP undermines our democracy by concentrating our country's wealth into the hands of a few inheritance rich greedy paranoid spoiled brats they are taking from us and giving to them.

It is up to us, the American people, to hold our politicians accountable. And if they won't allow us to hold them accountable at the voting booth we must find other means to do so.

The Carter-Baker Elections Reform Commission recently recommended requiring a paper audit trail on all voting systems. Democratic Senators have been trying to pass this legislation for several years but the Republicans won't let it out of committee.

John F. Kennedy said, "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable.", and then he was violently murdered by some right wing people in Dallas. And this crime was covered up by like minded people working inside our government. Oswald had about as much to do with Kennedy's murder as President Clinton had to do with the deficits during the past five years.

Our founding fathers and forefathers fought and died to give us this democracy, and now it is time we honor their sacrifice. We must take back our government from this corrupt Bush administration, and by force if necessary. But we can start by following the peaceful civil disobedience tactics used in India by Mahatma Gandhi, and then increase our actions as necessary.

However, we must remind ourselves that President George W. Bush is just a whore and puppet for the real people who are bankrupting our government and undermining our democracy. The people who we need to hold accountable for this treason are a bunch of lawyers, money managers, bankers, CEO's, and politicians who are all working for a bunch of inheritance rich spoiled brats. All these people are whoring themselves, for big bucks, for a few families with hundreds of billions of dollars in wealth. These few families are not on Forbes list of the 400 richest. They hide their extreme wealth from the public's eyes, and for good reasons. If the American people ever found out who these people are, where they got their wealth, and how much their assets are really worth they would demand a much more progressive tax code, more regulations, more law enforcement, more accountability, more transparency, a higher estate tax, and much tougher campaign finance laws.

Basically, all these people are just a bunch of organized criminals who are colluding and conspiring to get more wealth and power. They think they are above the law, and if that's true we must shame the law's inadequacies by taking matters into our own hands. Before he was murdered Robert F. Kennedy said, "If we do not attack organized crime with weapons and techniques as effective as their own, they will destroy us.". And here we are 37 years later watching helplessly as these criminals rob our government and undermine our democracy.

Consider today your D-Day and start readying yourselves for a real fight.
