(10/24/2006) The Republicans are finally saying something I totally agree with, "We Are At War!", but the context is all wrong. The Republicans are fear mongering about anti-American terrorist in the Middle East in a sick Nazi propaganda con job designed to help them win votes, and that should not be tolerated by any American citizens. The truth is it's the Republicans in Congress, and many of the Democrats in Congress, who are at war against 99% of the American people. They are lying to us, manipulating us, cheating us, and robbing our government. Therefore, they are a much greater threat to 99% of the American people than any group of foreigners.

Spreading fear is the same media propaganda tool Hitler used to unite the people of Germany to support his Nazi Party and its murderous military actions. The Republican candidates have been using the same Nazi type fear mongering in their recent debates and negative TV ads for the upcoming mid-term elections, and the polls show it's not working. Thank you my fellow citizens for not being suckers.

The Republican candidates and party leaders want us to believe that the Democrats are weak on national security and that their majority leadership would endangers all of us, but the exact opposite is true. They want us to vote for Republicans because "the foreign terrorist hate us, they want to kill us and destroy our way of life", but don't be fooled. The Republican's fear mongering words are just a pack of lies designed to divert our attention away from the real issues that are important to the American people's lives. Issues that they have failed to address, or that they have addressed but in a totally corrupt way. A good example is the Medicare prescription drug bill that passed the Senate by one vote and makes it illegal for the government to negotiate for lower drug prices. Or how about the budget and trade deficits that are at near record levels and are transferring our country's wealth to China and are pushing our federal government deep into debt, and eventually into bankruptcy. What has the Republican controlled government done about the skyrocketing cost of a college education other than cutting funds for scholarships. And this list could go on and on, but the point is the Republicans don't want you to see these type of facts clearly so they are using fear to try and divert attention way from these issues.

To help you understand why the Republicans are using fear to manipulate our votes I have included this quote from one of Hitler's top Generals, Herman Goering:

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." -- Herman Goering

The Republicans have been doing exactly what Goering suggest, and much worse. The Republicans are at war against 99% of the American people and they are fighting this war by trashing the U.S. Constitution, by rolling back our progressive tax policies, by lying about their legislation, by stealing from the U.S. treasury with non-bid contracts, by elections fraud, by manipulation of the justice system with political appointments, by bankrupting the U.S. government, by murdering innocent people, by using our soldiers as low value pawns, by war profiteering, etc.

It's easy to prove that the Republicans are against 99% of the American people just look at what they have done to the federal tax code. The last three Republican administrations have completely transformed our tax code from a highly progressive system into a highly regressive system. Now, the most highly taxed people in our society are self-employed individuals who earn around $80,000 a year. Not only is this unfair but is allowing wealth and opportunity to become concentrated in the hands of a few people already at the top of the economic ladder. Former Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis said: "We can either have democracy in this country or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both."

Most of the people at the top of the economic ladder are just inheritance rich individuals and their lawyers, bankers, money managers, and security personnel. They are the heads of the Republican's criminal organization I call the "Mafiaocracy" and they are the only people the Republican Party really represent. Anyone else who supports or votes for the GOP is doing so out of either fear, ignorance, or religious bigotry, and are voting against their own self-interest when they do so.

For additional proof that the Republican Party is at war with 99% of the American people just look at what the Republicans have done to the federal budgets starting in 1980. Since 1980 Republican administrations have increased the federal debt by over 90%, and they have taken every penny from the Social Security trust fund to help pay for tax cuts that went primarily to the very rich. Clearly, we can no longer count on Republicans for conservative fiscal leadership.

As a result of these non-conservative fiscal policies the federal debt is now over $8.6 trillion dollars. All that it will take now is a jump in interest rates, a decline in the value of the U.S. dollar, and a drop in foreign investors confidence in the U.S. economy and our federal government will be pushed into bankruptcy. When this happens our government will be forced to sell off its $100 trillion dollars in assets, our assets!, for pennies on the dollar just to pay the interest cost on all this debt. There federal government assets belong to all the American people but will soon belong to a few inheritance rich individuals and their lawyers, bankers, money managers, and security personnel, but only if we don't do something radical before it's too late.

When, and if, our federal government does go into bankruptcy you can forget about your Social Security savings, unemployment benefits, or any other federally sponsored social safety net programs. The Republican's "New World Order" will put 99% of the American people into the shoes of Mexicans, or maybe worse Palestinians. These dire predictions for America's middle class indicate that the Republicans in Congress are the new eugenic fascist killers and they all deserve the same thing Hitler got, defeated and destroyed.

The Republican don't want the voters to focus on this fiscal mismanagement, or unfair tax cuts, or the details of the prescription drug bill, or anything else they have been doing behind closed doors or in the middle of the night, but they do want you to fear a nonexistent terrorist threat. Our ignorance and fear is the GOP's bliss.

The Republicans want you to vote for them because they have been fighting the war on terror, but all they have managed to accomplish is the spilling of a lot of blood and the waste of over $500 billion of our tax dollars. They don't want you to pay any attention to the fact that Iraq and Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11 or any other terrorist action against American interest; or the fact that Iraq never had any WMD's; or the fact that sanctions and U.N. inspectors had Iraq in a strangle hold just before we attacked. They want us to ignore the nearly 3,000 flagged draped coffins of American soldiers that have been shipped back to American under the cloak of a photo media ban ordered by President George W. Bush. And just forget about the nearly 45,000 U.S. soldiers that have been injured in this totally unnecessary war. They just want you to be afraid, ignorant, and economically placated.

And this list could go on and on but the Republican's real agenda, and who they really represent, should be clear. Yes, 99% of the American people are their victims of the GOP's treason and this victimization will only get worse the longer they are in power.

Yes, it is time for a radical change in direction and the only way for the Republican's fascist ideology and government looting plan to succeed now is if good men and women do nothing.
