Boycott Dairy
(milk, butter, cheese, yogurt, ice cream, sour cream)

The American people love their dairy products, and they are hard to avoid since they are widely used as ingredients in pizza, hamburgers, baked potatoes, casseroles, desserts, cereals, Mexican dishes, bakery products, and milk drinks. Dairy products are a good source of nutrients, including: protein, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, fats, and vitamins. However, the source of dairy products, cows milk, also usually continue the following bad ingredients: casein, rbST (bovine growth hormone), other hormones, saturated fat, cholesterol, dioxins, antibiotics, bacteria, lactose (sugar), and anything on the food that the cows consume (herbicides, pesticides, feces, urine, etc.).

Following are the health risk of consuming a diet high in dairy products:

  • heart disease

  • obesity

  • cancer

  • leukemia

  • diabetes

  • crohn's disease

  • allergies

  • digestive problems

  • glaucoma

  • multiple sclerosis

  • auto-immune diseases

  • constipation

  • canker sores

  • peptic ulcer disease

  • ulcerative colitis

  • asthma

  • rheumatoid arthritis

  • lupus

  • eczema

  • parkinson's disease

  • fatigue

  • SIDS

  • artherosclerosis

The U.S. dairy industry is a $50 billion dollar a year business and it uses aggressive marketing campaigns. Remember the ads with the white moustache? The industry is organized into co-ops with over 50% of all the dairy processing in the U.S. controlled by 5 huge co-ops. Government intervention in the dairy markets have been common because of anti-trust violations related to dominate companies control the prices. The latest anti-trust violation in the U.S. was in 2009 against the major dairy industry players.
